The Bimini Blade, one of the latest editions to Rife, is a highly successful Island Series putter. It is Rife’s version of the classic 8802 so it is the truest of blade putters but designed with subtle variations that make it uniquely a Rife design. As we like to say “making the classics with a flair”. There is a slight raised toe and of course Rife’s patented RollGroove Face Technology. But unlike every other putter we make, the Bimini does not have the vertical notch on the back edge of the top line. We wanted to be certain that this one was design for the true traditionalist. This will be a half milled 304 stainless steel construction. This product includes a headcover.

Features:
  • True blade-design putter for the traditionalist golfer
  • RollGroove Face Technology gives you the purest roll on any surface
  • Milled design gives great feel, and durability
  • Tropical finish models offer a durable finish that’s created through an intricate ti-plating process. The result-a unique putter that is very wear-resistant

    Great Putter
    February 9, 2013
Caveat: I own the Abaco and the Mallet both with the tropical finish. I initially was attracted to them by their outstanding tropical colored finish. Baked on in an oven. I have heard that prolonged exposure to UV will dull that finish eventually. Rife's putters roll the ball better than anything I have ever used. (Note: I have not used Scotty Cameron's putters due to price)
    Pros:
Superb balance, appearance, and roll characteristics
    Cons:
Retail Price, but at this price that is not a con.

    Great Feeling Putter
    January 29, 2013
I haven't putted with a blade in years, but this is getting a shot at being in the bag full time. It was initially the finish that attracted me to the club (looks amazing in person) but it seems to have the performance to match. Due to the weather, my putting has been limited the living room rug with a strategically placed cup, but even that feels good. I used it in comparison to my trusty Ping and I think this feels a lot softer. I'm anticipating good things when I can finally bring it to the course. Not a huge fan of the stock grip (prefer mid size) or headcover, but both are easily and inexpensively changed
    Pros:
    very unique finish soft feel
    Cons:
    stock grip stock headcover
