The cavity-back forging on the FG Tour earned an instant recognition around the world. Its powerful ball flight and trajectory control earned the FG Tour a spot in the bags of Padraig Harrington and Ricky Barnes. Golf Digest named it a Hot List winner, hailing "any low-to-mid handicapper will benefit from this club." FG Tour. Wilson's first cavity-back blade.

Features:
  • A cavity-back blade redistributes weight from the heel to the toe. The resulting higher CG increases MOI for greater stability, and delivers higher spin to account for the new groove rule
  • Progressive offset through the set delivers playability in the long irons while ensuring distance control in the scoring zone
  • The slightly wider sole promotes improved turf interaction for creative shot-making from a variety of lies

    Well weighted for
    April 30, 2013
The clubs are well weighted and balanced. Being a little better than a hack myself, it took a while to get used to hitting a great set of clubs. However, the payoffs were excellent. You can flight the ball anyway you want and get great distance. Mis-hits are going to cost you. I would say that my worst hits are 10 yards shorter than with my old Ben Hogans but my sweet spot shots give me 15 with each club. And that's the catch...distance control with these sticks must be precise. The view of the clubs at address is a thing of beauty. I've played several rounds with them but it took a while on the range to dial them in. These are not "out of the box to the course" clubs. Work with them first and it will pay off.
