Great practice ball indoors
August 10, 2016
We have a wiffle ball golf course set up in our side yard and a friend recommended these balls as an alternative playing option. You can hit them and they actually go more than 10 feet (like a wiffle ball). My husband practices putting and chipping in his garage shop and loves these balls as they don't leave dents in the walls. We've hit them indoors in other areas and haven't broken anything yet. We live in the desert and it's 110+ degrees outside so having the option of doing a little indoor practice is nice. The stick is a great tool as well so we don't have to bend over to retrieve balls all the time.

I used my almostGOLF balls to hit into my practice net in my garage as I have sent balls through nets before. Second, I am in an apartment, so these are much quieter than actual balls. You can tell when you made a good swing on these with the feedback. The practice stick will come in handy when I venture to a park or my in-law's backyard. I am not sure how solid the bottom plastic piece that holds the balls in will hold up over time, it possibly looks questionable. I used to have a metal cylinder with three prongs on the end that was really strong, so this one will be much different.
ProsGreat feedback when struck Quiet
ConsPossible problem with the bottom plastic exit/entrance lever.

Have been using these "Almost Golf Balls" for years. Enhance my practice and eliminate trips to the range. Use them before I play a round. Perfect tool for my side yard range. However, they do not do well if the lawn mower finds them.
ProsHighly recommend.

Cool product but misunderstood description

I was unaware that the balls included in this practice stick were condensed foam.
ProsThe balls will be really good for indoor practice chipping on a turf putting green. And the "stick," will even work with real balls on the chipping green at the range.
ConsI hope the construction holds up. The ejection mechanism is simply a lever that looks like it could snap easily.

The almostGolf balls fly true. My 7 iron travels about 60-70 yds so you will need some space. The practice stick is convenient for storage and transportation.

No better training aid!!!

These balls are great. Best price on the internet. They feel similar to a golf ball off the clubface, they fly like a golf ball should fly and make it fun to golf around a smaller area (park, playground, college, etc..). If you are looking for a cheap way to practice, get this stick with a few dozen extra balls and get out and hit. You will find yourself hitting more often. Much cheaper than hitting at a range all the time.
ProsPlays great, affordable,

Great Buy!

Bought these for indoor golf net to save from real balls tearing up the net. Works out good, not near the bounce off the net or wall like a real ball. Much safer for sure with my kids hitting in to the net.
ProsFeel Distance Ease on golf net.
ConsDog loves to chew!

Does the job

Bought the two dozen balls stick. Travelled about 70 yards with my 8 iron. Ball flight was pretty realistic. Lost 2 balls in my first practice due to the ball going a lot further than I anticipated :-( Get the birdieballs if you want shorter distances (about 40 yards and makes a turbine noise).

I just purchased the 3 dozen box. I\'ve read everything you can about these, and they truly are worth it. What it does is it teaches good habits, like my irons slicing. I took some out in the yard with a practice mat, and I was slicing my irons. When I messed with my swing a bit, I was hitting about 150 with a 7 iron straight. But the balls only fly about half that distance. They wont break windows or anything, but they do go farther than I was thinking. Any ways, its the best training aid really, no gimmicks, just pure training. Pro\'s of these balls: -Hits like a real golf ball, can\'t break windows -Withstands any club -Best practice aid out there, yourself! There worth the money, I got mine today, and I was out till sunset practicing.
