The Callaway Micro Laser Rangefinder delivers the benefits of both laser and prism technology within one ultra compact, lightweight device. For courses that have flagsticks with built-in reflectors, prism mode is ideal for quickly acquiring the distance to the pin with minimal effort and high degree of accuracy. To acquire distances to other objects, laser mode allows you to scan the landscape for distances to hazards, trees, front of the green, etc. When playing a course without flagstick reflectors, simply stay in laser mode throughout the round and engage P.A.T. (Pin Acquisition Technology) to lock onto the flag quickly and accurately.
Features:
  • Ultra Compact Design
  • Includes both prism and laser modes; range to pin 300 yards
  • Superior accuracy [+/- 1 yard]
  • P.A.T. (Pin Acquisition Technology)
  • Scan landscape to acquire multiple targets
  • LCD screen on back of unit displays yardage

    Good for carrying in pocket
    June 28, 2019
It€™s very compact so fits nicely in your pocket on the course, which I like. In terms of accuracy it€™s worked well when the flag is not near trees, although I had a couple misreads on a hole that had trees right behind it, but that could have bin user error just the same. All in all it€™s a nice cheap rangefinder option.

This item is definitely compact and accurate to about +/- 1 yard. Have not used it during a round but taken it to the driving range and around the neighbor. Walking off the yardard.

    beat the Bushnell Tour V3
    August 24, 2016
Took this Callaway and a Bushnell Tour V3 to the course. The Callaway fit comfortably in my pocket throughout the round - the Bushnell is just a little too big to carry around in your pocket. This course doesn't have prism on the pins but in "pinsetter" mode the Callaway found the pin every time but the Bushnell did not. When both found the pin they were within 1 or 2 yards of each other. In laser mode they were also within 1 or 2 yards of each other. This is a very accurate rangefinder in a tight, portable package and its current technology outperformed this Bushnell. A great rangefinder.

    Excellent rangefinder
    February 5, 2016
This rangefinder is awesome. The key advantage is that you hold your eye back from the device to use it. It's MUCH better than having to hold it directly onto your eye as you don't need a steady hand to get a measurement. Also, this device is so small that you can slip it into your pocket, if necessary. It has 3 views; pin, laser, and prism. Most courses have prisms on the flagsticks so it's really easy to get a perfectly accurate distance. I'm glad I bought this rangefinder.
