Great Look and Feel
Played a couple rounds with the new wedge and it’s fantastic! Nice look at address and a great feel on all swing types. Got it pre-owned in “excellent” condition and couldn’t be happier. Looks like new.

E8 Tour Fairway Wood- Silly Long (but not as forgiving as the standard E8)
This is the longest fairway wood I have ever hit. The extra hot face on the 3WD, plus the quality Diamana Blue shaft combine for unreal distance. it is as long as many drivers off the tee. I do prefer the E8 fairway (non-tour version) I bought from RBG a little more, as it is definitely more forgiving. But for $70, it is very hard to complain about a top quality players 3WD that is very workable, and was selling for close to $300 only a couple of years prior.
ProsDistance, Diamana shaft
ConsForgiveness

Best deal in golf, only from RBG
I purchased this club from Rock Bottom Golf last year. I had heard that the Exotics E8 had a really hot face, but wasn't expecting incredible distance considering what a great price they were being offered for. Boy was I wrong. The stock shaft is a burner, and this club generates a distance easily. More importantly for a mid-handicap like me, the hits off the toe were far more forgiving than I had expected. The shots launch a little lower than a TM or Ping, but for me that's a great thing. This club is particularly strong as a bomber off of the tee, I have had rounds where I hit it consistently within 10 yards of a good driver with very little risk of dispersion.
ProsLong. Solid feel and sound. High quality. Great price.
ConsNot much, frankly. A little less forgiving on heel strikes than a Ping G30, but for this price I would take that tradeoff every time.

A Classic
Tried and true Ping Eye-2 sand wedge. A perfect fit for my new Eye-2 irons. Back in the day I was pretty good. Thanks to Rock Bottom Golf I got my equipment back. These irons are timeless, always loved them.
ProsForgiving Cast iron.

Nice intermediate fairway wood!
This club turned out to be a good fit for me, as it fills the gap between my longest hybrid and my 3-wood. I have a hybrid 3 that I hit about 160 or a little more, and this club goes about 165 to 175, just to the lower end of my 3-wood. I adjusted it to 16 degrees and left the high-low weight in the middle, and it goes like you would expect a 5-wood. A really nice club that feels light in your hands and is easy to hit. Came with a nice leather head cover.
ProsGood balance with a light feel. Adjustability of loft and depth of CG for high-low. Cool looks with purple head and multi-colored shaft (Fujikura, nice!) Nice head cover.
