Great club if you find a standard long iron hard to hit.
    January 6, 2017
Excellent club for a mid-handicap range golfer who finds the long irons hard to hit consistently. High launch angle allows you to hit this a long way with a forgiving feel.

    Great hybrid replacement
    December 29, 2016
I purchased the 20* (3 iron) due to my struggles with hybrids and it's been great so far. It's versatile in the sense that it's great off the tee and easy enough to hit off the turf.

    Easy to hit hybrid alternative
    December 29, 2016
Great club for golfers that either don't like hybrids or tend to hit them very high. This club is easy to hit and you can keep it low on a windy day.

Really like the iron, wish the shaft was a little longer, but can really this club can pick a ball out of the grass and get it down range usually where I want it to go!

Nice club and great price! I use it to tee off, on narrow par 4\s.

    Quickly Becoming a Favorite
    December 13, 2016
I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to hit this club very well, but it is quickly becoming a go to club for me. I used it off the tee on short par 4's and off the deck on medium length par 5's. It was surprisingly forgiving for a 3 iron and the steel shaft is so light weight, I thought they'd mistakenly sent me a graphite shaft. For those who don't quite like the hybrid club, this is a great (and more traditional) alternative.

    Awesome alternative to a Hybrid!
    November 2, 2016
I play the 20* UDI and couldn't be more pleased. Very consistent, easy to get airborne and a great option for those tight fairways. I love the fact that you can hit it out of the fairway as well. To me, the question is, can you live with hitting an 8 iron approach from the fairway vs. a wedge from the rough or around a tree? Smart option off the tee when the driver or 3 wood gets suspect. Unfamiliar courses - its my go-to club! Jump on this one; wish I could find an 18*.

And I've tried most of them! This (20*) is as easy to hit as the SpeedBlade 4i. And longer. And feels terrific to boot! I know it just sounds like I'm being delirious and describing a unicorn, and I'm still in disbelief on the performance of this iron. Just an awesome, awesome club! I don't know if I should get the 5i replacement also, or what, but I'd do bad things for the 18*. Which is nowhere to be found

I had bought a Adams hybrid, but the insert from the speed slot fell out. Taylor Made/Adams wouldn't do anything for me, but Rock Bottom Golf took the club back and gave me a credit. I have only used this club a few times, but I really do like the lower ball flight. More forgiving that I thought it would be based on other reviews I read, great club. I'm glad they helped get into this club, and I can't wait until I get back out to hit it some more.

    Great Long Iron!
    June 25, 2016
Although I did not buy this from RockBottomGolf (simply because I'm a lefty and they didn't have it in lefty) I just had to give a review since I love this website. This is an absolutely amazing club! I struggled hitting my hybrid (ironic, since they are suppose to be easier to hit), so I purchased this in hopes of having a go-to long club. This club is easy to hit, has great feel of the face, and you can easily manipulate the flight. Lower trajectory than a hybrid of course, but if you want a long iron instead of a hybrid, you NEED this club.
ProsLong and low, easy to hit
