Upon trying the original Stroke lab putter, I was intrigued but it didn't fit the bill. Yes the technology was great, which reduced the twisting of the face, but the head weight was still heavy.
I really liked the Original EXO series, but I just felt something was missing. When I saw this putter, I had to give it a try.
After a few hundred putts today, it took a little getting used to at first. The head is about 10% bigger than my OWorks 7S. The putter is perfectly balanced. The counter balance in the grip and movement of the weight to the head felt amazing. The alignment is just as easy as my previous putter. The Stroke Lab technology is amazing. You can tell the weight was very perimeter oriented. The weight allowed me to swing more smooth and in tempo. I swing with a slight arc in my stroke. In my previous 7S I couldn't tell if the twisting or weight pushing me off line was the club or me. Now I can tell it is me. The club face does not want to twist. I noticed that my offline putts were the cause of me opening or closing the face. Not the putter. This is amazing in a sense of putting. This takes half of the equation of what is the issue away.
The face is much more firm than the OWorks, but not too firm where you here a clicking sound. It's a nice muted click similar to a Scotty Cameron, yes I've owned them too.
Distance control and direction is very consistent. The putter is very forgiving as well. I hit some off center hits and was not punished like other putters I've had.
By far, this putter is better than my OWorks 7S and every other putter I've owned. Highly recommended!!!
