Cobra bag by Vessel, simply great!
November 18, 2021
Purchased from Rock Bottom on Amazon and posted this review there, but they did such an amazing job getting me the bag, I figured that I should post here too.

I recently purchased a new set of Cobra RADSPEED irons and needed a new bag as well. I searched the web for something that I thought would check all of the boxes. I wanted durable, plenty of storage, bottle holder, full length dividers, quality material, and of course, good looking. After way too much research on stand bags, I looked at bags from the big guys and the step up brands like Stitch and Vessel.
I was been pretty close to flipping a coin and pulling the trigger on the Motocaddy hydro-flex bag or the Vice Force bag figuring both would be great. Then I came across this Cobra bag in collaboration with Vessel. If you don't know about Vessel bags, check them out, they make great stuff; not cheap, great.

Now, let me say that the last thing that I wanted was to be the guy with the bag that matched his clubs exactly, but the fact that the bag was made by Vessel piqued my interest. I couldn't find any good pics of the bag online, but it looked very similar to their Player III stand bag which is top notch. At the retail price of $350, it was outside my budget, but it was on sale now and really saved me a bundle, so I figured in the worst case, I would return it if I hate it. Well, Rock Bottom Golf did a great job getting the bag out and in my hands incredibly fast (kudos RBG) and man, oh man it is worth every penny. I will post the pics for you to see this bag from different angles so you can get a glimpse of the goodies like the hidden pocket with a lock and the tether to ensure that they carbon fiber stand legs retract and stay up whenever you are walking (from the quality of the mechanism, it seems like overkill). The entire base of the bag pivots (next level proprietary engineering) to extend the legs so it will fit on walking and riding carts perfectly. This bag is head and shoulders above the bags that you see in the box stores for $200-$250. The material, the finish, the stitching and the embroidery all scream quality. As a heads up, the bag is about a lb heavier than some of the other bags I considered, but I don't typically carry for 18, just 9 and the weight won't be an issue for me. I do not think that you could find a better bag from any manufacturer and if the Cobra bag doesn't suit your aesthetics, I would recommend that you pony up a few extra $$$ and get a Vessel bag. This one's a keeper!
