Long off the tee
I like to make adjustments to my equipment so this club was perfect and so was the price. I'm getting approximately 20 yards more distance which is every golfer's dream. I've played 4 rounds with this club and when you hit the sweet spot it goes.
ProsGreat adjustments to make it your club. Hits long
ConsThe only issue I have had when you dont hit in the middle of the club it looses distance quick, so maybe I'm the con....ha ha

Great stuff
Very light, good looking club. Worked well for me right out of the box. Whatever improvement made by the GT190 would be of no interest to me, given what I paid for this club. Its worth every dime plus some!
ProsLite, good profile, great color and truly easy to hit good long distance straight balls with this club.

Great Driver
It took about 3 adjustments to get this tuned to my swing. Hitting it 5-7 yards longer than my R15.
Pros- Adjustability - Hot off the face
Cons- Some in my group didn't like sound, others loved it

Yet to be hit, review is first impressions
I purchased the GT180 with one goal in mind. I wanted a quality driver with weighting and loft adjustments at a reasonable price. With free shipping and a one-day $25 discount off RockBottom's already low $199.99 price (orig MSRP was $500), the Mizuno driver was a no-brainer for me. Even though it came with an S-flex KuroKage shaft I knew would not fit my game well.

ProsFirst impressions: - Overall look of the Mizuno head was impressive. I'm not crazy about the blue color used on the crown, but the matte finish works much better than a gloss finish would. And I love the black, classy appearance of the face. - The GT180 at the time of release was, by several accounts, the most adjustable driver on the market. The claim was 1872 possible combinations of settings. But if you utilize the online manual available through Mizuno's website, you'll simply click on a couple of ball flight and trajectory options. Weight positioning will be immediately illustrated. A simple, effective approach. - As a club-building/repair hobbyist for 30+ years, I knew the KuroKage shaft in my purchased club could be easily swapped out for an R-flex shaft of my own choosing. About $40 later, I had a brand new adapter for the GT180 and a great Fujikura R-flex shaft to attach it to. It was a simple matter of assembly, trimming, and installing a new grip to have a golf weapon more suitable to my swing tempo. And the gray & black Fujikura shaft better complements the look of the driver than the original. - Overall, with the testing and reviews I researched from several sources, I thought the price offered by RockBottomGolf was terrific for such a high quality, adjustable driver.
ConsFirst Impressions: Other than finding the shade of blue on the crown not all that appealing, I have nothing to say bad about the driver from an aesthetic and adjustment perspective. Performance, feel, and durability all remain unknowns at this point. They will be the true test of whether I otherwise got what appears to be a great buy. But I'm excited about doing some systematic testing of the GT180 as soon as the weather permits!

after messing with the adjustments on the driver head at the driving range and then taking it to the course I'm hitting about 85 % of the fairways with the Mizuno driver.
Proseasy to adjust for my swing.
