Been looking for a new 4 & 5 iron, this hybrid is the perfect fit. Hits the ball high and very forgiving.

Srixon U85 3 iron-great alternative to a hybrid.

Great feeling club.
Looks awesome at address-not bulky.
The few shots I've made with it so far have been awesome.
Utility iron replaced a hybrid in my bag.
RBG's customer service is awesome.

ProsGreat feel. Looks awesome at address.
ConsDidn't come with the Recoil 95 shaft as listed-came with a Recoil 780. I found out from Srixon that the Recoil 95 was not available for a period of time so the U85s were equipped with the Recoil 780 during the shortage. Will make matching shafts difficult WHEN I buy the 4 iron, but it's not the end of the world. Customer service responded to the issue and offered a solution-very happy.

Srixon Z U85 3 iron utility
May 14, 2020
Amazingly easy to hit. Feels like butter, much more accurate than my King Cobra f7 Hybrid.Really nice quality club. I bought the irons this year as well, went to a fitting, and have been very satisfied with srixon clubs, quality, and all the customizable options. Srixon is stepping up their game! Rockbottom prices can't be beat.

Absolutely love this iron. Very long and forgiving off the tee and fairway. Ball jumps off the face with a high trajectory.

I started with a U65 23? and liked like so much I upgraded it to the newer U85 model and added this 20? #3 it may replace my 3W which I have trouble hitting off the deck anyways. Not an uncommon problem I hear. As far as condition, it was brand new.

Heavy driving iron
September 11, 2019
A little heavier than I thought it would be, solid feel, looks sweet. I should€™ve got a regular flex shaft instead of the stiff, goes good when you hit the sweet spot.

Accurate off the tee

Good off the tee. A lil harder to hit that a hybrid. Flight is only slightly lower.

I have the u65 and it is blissful to hit. It is has that classic forged feel and is very appeasing to look down upon. If the u85 is half as good it is a winner!

Great Utility Club
July 4, 2019
I've carried 3 hybrids (3,4,5) over the years. I've played Cobra, Ping, Mizuno, Cleveland and decided this year to jump to the Z U85 irons. I'm carrying the 2 (for mostly off the tee as a fairway-finder but it can be hit easily from the fairway and rough), 4, and 5 and they get great distance and fill yardage gaps wonderfully. The Recoil shaft feels great and I don't feel like you have to over-swing the club. My irons are Srixon Z585s and the U U85s compliment them perfectly. Rock Bottom had a great price and I was able to trade in my old hybrids with a bonus on value.
ProsForgiving Good distance Good feel Great stock shaft
