Great Hybrid purchase
April 3, 2020
I shopped around to find the best value and always end up at Rock Bottom Golf. The price was lower than any other site and the quality of the club by far exceeded others. It hits great and was an easy transition from my other brand club. Thanks
ProsQuality level of the club was great. Less than what I would consider normal wear.

Seems very high quality and what is was looking for
April 3, 2020
So far only practiced at range but from first shot felt natural and was getting consistent results. Club was used but looked perfectly new.
ProsSeems well built and as advertised. Fits the need of the wedge I?ve been looking for. By far the very best price I could find.
ConsNot sure if con I just wish it had different grip but can be rectified easily. Grips are relatively inexpensive.

Not what I expected
April 2, 2020
The used wedge I ordered showed a stock photo, it’s supposed to be in a black finish and was listed in good to very good condition.
when I received the wedge it is in a pewter gray finish ( I guess it could’ve been black at one time and he’s just worn out? ) not the end of the world but the rest of my set is black so having the wedge match would’ve been ideal
Or at least being what was advertised.

the face appears to be in OK condition I’ve hit a couple balls out of my backyard and it seems to function OK. the bottom of the club has 3 to 4 very deep scratches , and the club has a very poor Re-grip done to it.
the grip itself is very brittle and dry providing almost no grip , once I pay to have this club re-gripped The cost will be basically what a new wedge would be.
I would recommend not purchasing any used Club from This or any site unless you get an actual photo of the club you’re purchasing and not a stock one.

Merchant Response:Thank you for the feedback! The customer service crew has been notified of your issue and will be reaching out to help. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Arrived in condition advertised, clubs play great. The SteelFiber shafts are a nice upgrade from steel. Looking forward to playing with these for a long time.
ProsCan work the ball both directions. Long irons have a "soft" feel.

FINALLY FOUND A FOUR WOOD
April 1, 2020
Thought that the number four wood had gone the way of The Brassie. This Titleist beauty is a pleasure to hit either off a tee or the short grass of a fairway. Good out of (reasonable) rough as well. Importantly, it provides just enough of the extra distance that my five wood lacks. (Using a three wood from the fairway generally proves to be a disaster for me.) Good, solid, easy to control fairway wood.
ProsOption of choosing a regular shaft a big plus for the 60 plus golfer. As is the price of this fine piece of Titleist equipment.
ConsHead cover not included. But, as Rock Bottom stocks head covers at ridiculously low prices, not much of a "con".
